It is a utopia where co-living and co-working are tied to each other.
This thesis examines a local sharing culture by interweaving shared community spaces into living and working. The idea of textile production as spectacle and reintroducing crafts in Tradeston. In a way of working on amazing sharing and collaborative initiatives.
The Living Factory is a combination of housing, factory, trading and learning centre provides the local community with jobs opportunities. Through the process of manufacturing as well as commercial activities, create a new individual identity for the more sharable and collective inhabiting space in Tradeston.
