Project 1 - Self Portrait
It took us 2 weeks time to complete the 1:50 site model. The basic concept of these 2 site buildings are victorian building. After identifying the basic concepts, we start to determine the scale as well as indicate the best proportion for the particular building. Next, we plan the details require to fill up all the elevations of the buildings in order to make it blend into the particular movie. All the pictures above show the process of making as well as final model of the site buildings
WORKSHOP IN THE PLAYGROUND
A SPACE COMBINING WITH WORKSHOP AND PLAYGROUND. THIS IS A DREAM SPACE FOR A NINE YEARS OLD BOY, WHO IS A GENIUS MECHANICAL ENGINEER. AT THE FIRST STEP OF DESIGN, THE WORKSHOP AND THE PLAYGROUND IS NOT TOTALLY COMBINED. AFTER THIS 2 SPACES ARE COMBINED, THE SHAPE OF THE SPACE IS LIKE 2 BOXES. EVENTUALLY, CURVE SHAPE AND PULLEY IS ADDED TO THE FINAL DESIGN. GEARS ARE ABLE TO SPIN AS WELL AFTER LINKED AND MEASURED THE NUMBER AND DIMENSION OF TEETH. THE SPACE IS COVERED BY MECHANICAL PARTS AND SYSTEM TO CONTROL THE SLIDING WALLS SO THAT THE WORKSHOP CAN BE AN ENCLOSED OR OPENED SPACE. A SLIDE IS LINKED TO THE UPPER FLOOR FOR HIM TO SLIDE DOWN. BESIDES, SWING IS ALSO ADDED IN FRONT OF THE WORKSHOP. THE PULLEY IS FUNCTIONED LIKE A LIFT TO MOVE GENIE TO UPPER FLOOR. IN A NUTSHELL, THIS IS A DREAM SPACE DESIGNED FOR GENIE TO PLAY , WORK AND REST.
In this project, we are assigned into a group of 3. I feel really glad and pleased as I am given 2 good groupmates in this project. Firstly, we planned the basic concepts and design of our model based on the combination of 3 of our self characteristics. Next, we went to purchase the materials required to build our 1:1 model. We start our composing our model right after we purchased our materials. It took us 5 days to finish up the model. We did face a crucial problem when we are proceeding half-way throughout our project which is our model collasped due to imbalance of weight applied on the base level of our model structure. After that, we redid a model with a more stable base. Overall, it is a great experience to work with my groupmates. I did enjoy alot throughout the process of composing this 1:1 model.

Summary
I am a drummer from the cradle of 24 festive drums. Time flies, I have left my drum troupe for 8 months but rhythms still always emerge in my mind. In fact, my mouth is quiet but my arms are voice maker. Therefore, percussion is the way to define me.
